Refund & Cancellation Policy

For any refund requests, contact us at founder@gigmentor.co.in within 24 hours of your session.

1. Overview

GigMentor ("we", "us", "our") is a live tech training marketplace operated by Bharath Nelapatla (UDYAM-KR-03-0650233), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This policy outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are processed for sessions booked on gigmentor.co.in.

2. Cancellation by Learner

If you wish to cancel a booked session, the following policy applies:

Between 12–24 hours before session
50% refund
Less than 12 hours before session
No refund
No-show (learner did not attend)
No refund

To cancel, email founder@gigmentor.co.in with your booking ID and reason for cancellation.

3. Cancellation by Trainer

If a trainer cancels a confirmed session for any reason, the learner will receive a 100% full refund within 5–7 business days. GigMentor will also offer the learner priority rescheduling with another verified trainer at no additional cost.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:

  • ✅ Session was not delivered by the trainer
  • ✅ Technical failure on GigMentor's platform prevented the session
  • ✅ Trainer was more than 30 minutes late with no prior notice
  • ✅ Cancellation request made more than 24 hours before session

Refunds are not applicable if:

  • ❌ Learner did not attend the session
  • ❌ Cancellation was made less than 12 hours before the session
  • ❌ Session was completed fully as agreed
  • ❌ Dissatisfaction with the session outcome (subjective)

5. Refund Process

Once a refund is approved:

  • → Refund is processed to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking)
  • → Processing time: 5–7 business days
  • → Razorpay payment gateway fees (if any) may be deducted
  • → You will receive a confirmation email once processed

6. Rescheduling

Instead of a cancellation, learners may request to reschedule their session at no charge, provided the request is made at least 12 hours before the original session time. Rescheduling is subject to trainer availability. To reschedule, email founder@gigmentor.co.in with your booking ID.
